Searching
Start
searching for your patents using the the Search Manager.
The Search Manager connects you the world wide web and
helps you to track and organize your searches by storing
links to your favorite websites and saved searches of
the USPTO, Espacenet, Depatisnet, WIPO Patentscope and
Google. This screen shot shows one of our custom saved
search interfaces for the USPTO, the results from that
search, and the Search Manager.
Nineteen saved search interfaces across the five servers
are currently supported.

You
can also search using the native web interface and download
the patents by highlighting the results as shown in the
next screen shot.
Patent
Downloading
Once
a list of patents is assembled use the downloader to collect
parts of the documents or the complete patents. Patent
downloads can be done from any of the supported servers
regardless of the server used to perform the search. Shown
below the USPTO is searched and the resulting patents
downloaded from Espacenet by highlighting the results.
Downloading and searching tasks are queued and run in
the background so you can continue working.
Patent
Management
Use
the browse tree and window to review the results. The
browse tree mirrors a portion of the users hard drive.
Most files that can be viewed in IE can also be viewed
in IP-Discover. Use the address bar and arrow buttons
