I seem to recall hearing about the filament material a few years ago, in the context of OOPARTS or ancient astronaut theory. Never saw a good analysis of it though!
Well -if it is NOT a piece of SEM gun filament that fell onto the sample during analysis - then ya, it looks in form like a squid / anemonie filament, straitions and all. About the same size scale too.
Some of the other unusual repeating patterns are familiar as well from the eroded aluminum surfaces of the samples I looked at. You'll recall I saw triangles, squares, multi-tiered pinholes.
