Sounds like a good idea. The paper you posted was fairly specific
about what it took to make the topological insulator material.
Aren't the peltier materials too far out of spec to be of use?
It might explain the seemingly random variation of results
in your force experiments though. Perhaps a marginal or acceptable
composition was achieved in small portions of the
junction by accident. One thing I am still confused about
is just how conductive is the Sn doped Bi2Te3.
