Hi Kyle, John, and all,

Thanks for the patent number, John. It does look
familiar now, but I hadn't read the text before I
confess.

Two comments really - the asymmetrical drive pulse was
something worked with maybe around 1999 ish by Satvros
Dmitriou, and I know JLN had some of Stavros' stuff on
his page for a long time. I wrote to Stavros way
back, but never got much back in the way of helpful
hints for replication. He seems to have vanished from
the scene. Still, back in the day and even now, I
thought it was a wicked novel idea, and had hoped
someone else would work with it. He claimed to have
gotten some milligram to tens of mg forces I believe.
However if the patent by Schlicher et al dates to
application in 1991, then my guess is that Stavros may
have been looking at that part of the patent art.

Second question/comment... what sort of results was
John Schnurer claiming, and how was HE driving the
antenna model? Can't he loan you the driver circuit
or tell you what it is that he used?

And of course pictures iz always good! Keith can let
you know the best way to put them up here, or do you
have a page of your own where we may peep at them?

The Holy Grail 'neath ancient Roslin waits.
The blade and chalice guarding o'er Her gates.
Adorned in the masters' loving art, She lies;
She rests at last beneath the starry skies.
