Howdy all,

I'm the rat that jumped the Vortex ship. Keith, I remember you inviting
me to this list some months back, but as things go (especially when
you've got a wife), I never got around to it. But, at John Steck's
suggestion, I dug out my old emails and found the list again. So, here I
be. So how do you all do?

Fair warning: I do some strange experiments. I haven't said much about
them on Vortex, and from the archives, I know many of you come from
there. But, maybe with a list a bit more relaxed and 'homey' as this one
seems, I'll have some stuff to say from time to time.

Uh...lets see where to start. Anyone familiar with Rex Schlicher's
"NEMPS" thruster? Supposed to give reactionless thrust with proper
applied current. The late John Schnurer, a great friend of mine, swore
that it works. Maybe we ought to see if it does? Not sure exactly how to
power it, though. Any suggestions?

If you're thinking that building one is going to be a problem, fear not.
If I look straight upward, right NOW, at the ceiling over my
head...yeah, that's about where the damn thing is at. In my attic. Put
less ridiculously, I have a NEMPS thruster, built by John when he worked
at Wright-Patterson AFB, under the instructions of Schlicher. This is
the one he says works. All made of copper. It's kinda pretty. Anyone
want to see some pictures?

Dig out the patent. It's a fun read.
